Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Through our Strategic Plan, Habitat for Humanity will serve more people than ever before through decent and affordable housing.

Long Island Family and Elder Care is a not-for-profit organization that currently helps elderly, disabled and handicapped people who are unable to care for themselves remain in their homes with their families and loved ones or find a new place to call home by assisting them in identifying and applying for resources that can help them.

The Salvation Army is a 150-plus-year-old charitable organization. The Junkluggers primarily work with the Salvation Army Family Stores, which form the core of their Adult Rehabilitation Center philosophy, providing quality clothing, furniture, and goods at bargain prices-which in turn supports their mission of employing rehabilitating adults and funding their Adult Centers.

The mission of the United War Veterans Council is to mobilize our communities to honor, support and serve America's veterans. Sine 1985 they have been dedicated to ensuring that the public always embraces its commitment to provide all veterans and their families with the care, recognition and opportunities they have rightfully earned. The United War Veteran's councils unites veterans' groups, community organizations, city, state and federal agencies, local businesses, major corporations and the general public behind efforts to serve veterans of all eras.
